Laura became interested in the chiropractic field when she found herself in extreme pain resulting from a herniated disc due to a car accident. After receiving spinal decompression therapy and feeling great again, she was trained to operate Axiom’s DRX9000 and DRX9000C with Dr. David Huffman in South Tampa. At Sheldon Road Chiropractic her main focus is patient care, more specifically, spinal decompression. She is also responsible for marketing online web content and spinal decompression material.
Having been through decompression therapy herself, she’s been helping others with their own journey for the last 17 years and absolutely loves the field!
Brooke attended McDaniel College and double majored in Biology and Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology all while playing volleyball and lacrosse for the college. It was through these educational and personal experiences that her passion for being able to assist in the care of patients grew. She went on to do a one year internship at Anne Arundel Medical Center's Orthopedic Sports Medicine Center and has now been working in the Chiropractic field for a little over five years now. Brooke is very passionate about helping others and taking the time to get to know each and every patient so she can accommodate their individual needs and help them reach their short and/or long term goals.
When Brooke is not working, she can be found enjoying time with her daughter, step-daughter and watching her husband ride at Tampa Bay Downs.
